Lab accessories and lab fittings are essential to allow for the functioning of the lab. The three main groups of lab fittings are electrical fittings, water fittings and gas fittings. Electrical fittings such as electrical sockets are necessary so that electrical power can be supplied to equipment placed on the lab bench. As for water fittings such as water faucets, water mixers and lab sinks, these are fitted to facilitate experiments related to chemical usage and for cleaning laboratory glass wares.
